History

Historic stays at Hotel Frechener Hof

Since 1991, the 4-star Hotel Frechener Hof has been located behind the listed historic walls of the Schützenhaus, combining tradition, history and modern comfort.

The Schützenhaus with its large hall was built in 1904. For several years, it served as a meeting place for the Frechen Shooting Club, founded in 1655. In the 1920s, it was converted into Frechen’s largest event hall. It became privately owned in 1965, and in 1991 the old event hall was demolished to make way for today’s Hotel Frechener Hof.

For many years, Hotel Frechener Hof and the Schützenhaus have worked closely together in partnership to provide our guests with outstanding service throughout their stay, from morning until evening.

The entrance to the hotel is located in the inner courtyard and can be reached through the archway of the listed historic façade of the Schützenhaus. The traditional Schützenhaus is home to a charming restaurant and invites guests to relax and unwind on its spacious outdoor terrace.
