The „Schützenhaus” with its large hall was build in 1904. It’s been used as meeting place for several years for the “Frechener Schützenverein e. V. 1655” and has been rebuild in the 20’s into the largest event hall in Frechen. In 1965 it turned into private property until 1991, when the event hall has been demolished – the place where the Hotel Frechener Hof resides now.

The entrance of the hotel is in the courtyard and can be reached through the landmarked archway of the “Schützenhaus”. The traditional “Schützenhaus” keeps a welcoming Restaurant and invites for a stay at its terrace.

21 rooms offer oversized beds (17 x 2,10m and 4 x 2,20m).

The spacious rooms all come with tub/shower and toilets and offer a telephone, a flat screen TV, W-LAN (free of charge), cosmetic mirrors and hair dryer.
Due to environmental reasons we do not offer minibars in our rooms, instead we offer all our residents a free bottle of mineral water.
We will provide a filled minibar in your room only on special demand.
In 2015 our hotel has been certified with the nationwide “Reisen für Alle” (travelling for everyone) indicator. The hotel Frechener Hof has been listed as “teilweise barrierefrei” (partial accessible for people with a disability).
The inspection reports inform our residents with a disability with important details about our hotel, e.g. path length, passage width, labelings, movement area within the room/bathroom and more.

Parking
We offer a parking space in our own underground parking lot (6,90€ per day for each car) and free parking spaces behind the hotel which are accessable via “Im Bachgarten 9” Street.
Residents travelling with electric vehicles (electric car, e-Bike, Pedelec) have the option recharge their vehicle for free in our underground parking lot. We gladly offer this service for the sake of the environment.
